~Crona~

"Crona! Hand me that vile over there!" Medusa snapped gesturing towards a small vile filled with a lime green liquid.

I quickly grabbed it and handed it to her not wanting to enrage her again.

Medusa poured a small amount in the beaker and handed it back to me. I silently put it back from where I got it.

I had no idea what she was making but in all honesty I sort of did not want to find out. I could tell right away that it wasn't gonna be very good for the receiving end of the potion.

I continued doing as she asked, getting her the ingredients she needed, putting them away, staying out of her way. Just the usual when it came to potion making. The next thing I saw her do confused me a bit. She took a vile of red liquid, I recognized as blood, and poured it in with the other chemicals.

I was growing kind of curious as to what it could be; it isn't like she always adds blood to a mixture. Hell, she hardly does that. Medusa poured the now finished potion in a cup and turned to me.

"Crona." She begun. "Drink this." She ordered holding out the cup to me.

I quickly took it from her and drank it. as soon as I finished it I begun to feel very weird. I looked at Medusa…was it just me or was she getting taller and taller by the second…?

I looked around, everything was getting taller…..no…I was shrinking..! I looked at my hands, my nails were starting to become claws. I felt a sudden pain in my tailbone and turned my head to look at it.

I HAD A TAIL! I put my hands to the sides of my head, my head freaking hurt…wait….why cant I feel my ears there?! Why aren't my ears here anymore!?

I then ran to a mirror. My face had whiskers starting to grow! My top of my head had pink cat ears! I was slowly shrinking, and my hair was starting to grow longer, and I'm not talking about the hair on my head! That hair was shrinking!

And before I knew it I was staring at the reflection of a pink kitten….. I was a cat now.

I turned to Medusa and spoke. Why am I a cat Lady Medusa?! I don't know how to deal with this!!!!

All that came out was a pitiful Mew.

Medusa picked me up by my scruff and brought me to eye level. "You, my little kitten, are going to spy on Shibusen for me, and the easiest way, become a students pet, literally." She laughed and walked out still holding me by the scruff.

When we got to Shibusen it was raining, correction, it was down pouring.

Medusa just dropped me on the steps and walked away without any words. I let out a mew. It was freezing!

I walked to the corner of the steps trying to get out of the rain and huddled up. I was already soaked to the bone and was freezing.

I heard a door open and a kid walk down the steps holding an umbrella. I let out a few pitiful mews to get his attention.

It seemed to work because he paused. I mewed again. Over here! I said but it only came out as a mew.

The boy turned and looked down and at me surprised. He walked over to me and crouched down. "What's a little kitten like you doing out here in the rain?" He asked.

My mother slash master turned me in a cat and just ditched me here. I said but once again only meows and mews came out.

"You got an owner?" He asked and began to move the fur around my neck around a bit looking for a collar.

He noticed how thin I was and decided I was a stray.

"Why don't you come here with me, you can get a nice warm place to stay and a good meal." He said and picked me up.

When I looked closely at his face I noticed he had three white stripes on one side of his black hair, he also had golden eyes.

"Wonder what I should call you… I'll get you a name later." He said as he held me closely. I felt a strange wave of feeling safe as he held me. He opened his umbrella again to get us out of the rain.

Maybe this guy was a lot nicer then Medusa, he seemed like it.
